ITRI and Local Enterprises Install High-Efficiency Energy Storage Cabinets

In response to the severe damage to power infrastructure in Tainan's Xibei region caused by Typhoon Danas, the PV System Association of the R.O.C., True Love Energy Storage, JUI HENG Technology, Chang Gung International Energy, and ITRI collaborated to install energy storage cabinets. These units were deployed at various community centers and temples, including Datuen Baoan Temple and Shian Community Center, to provide emergency charging for residents.

Emergency Charging for Communication and Comfort

Typhoon Danas devastated Southern Taiwan, leaving many areas in Tainan’s Xibei region without power. To address the urgent need for communication, public and private sectors teamed up to deploy energy storage cabinets. This initiative ensures that residents can keep their mobile phones charged and maintain vital communication during the recovery period.

Green Energy Support for Tainan's Final Recovery Phase

While over 90% of Tainan has regained power following Typhoon Danas, over 26,000 households remain in the dark. To support these hard-hit areas in Xuejia, Qigu, and Beimen, several enterprises have voluntarily provided mobile green energy units, energy storage cabinets, and hydrogen energy equipment to provide emergency power.

Tainan Mayor Huang Wei-cher expressed gratitude to the private sector for providing high-efficiency energy storage cabinets to the Xibei region. These units serve as critical temporary power sources while Taipower continues the difficult task of repairing infrastructure damaged by Typhoon Danas.

Fishery-Solar Project Planned for Dongshi, Chiayi

A nearly 2-hectare Fishery-Solar symbiosis site in Chiayi is projected to produce over 30,000 kg of white shrimp and grouper annually. Utilizing a multi-functional land-use model, the site is expected to generate over 2,400,000 kWh of electricity per year following its 2022 completion.

True Love Agri-Aqua-PV's first Fishery-Solar site is planned for Hanbao, Changhua. The 1.9-hectare site features a 2MW installed capacity, aiming to maximize aquaculture yields with a projected annual output of 60,000 kg of white shrimp and 2,600,000 kWh of electricity.

A 102nd Anniversary Gift for NCYU: YouBike 2.0

To celebrate the 102nd anniversary of National Chiayi University (NCYU), a joint donation was made by distinguished alumni, including Chairman Hsiao Teng-po of Nam Liong Group, Chairman Huang Guo-huang of Fresh Juice Co., Ltd., the NCYU Alumni Association, the Outstanding Alumni Association, and Chairman Liu Yun-song of Sinon Corporation.

The donation consists of 51 YouBike 2.0 bicycles and 102 docking stations. These facilities have been installed across five key locations on the Lantan campus: the Guest House, Student Activity Center, Administration Center, Integrated Teaching Building, and Jiahe Hall.
